Rich Pentz LLS Man of the Year

I had a neighbor reach out and ask if I could take some portraits for a gentleman named Rich Pentz. I was told it had something to do with his involvement with the Leukemia & Lymphoma society, but I didn’t know much else. I later found out that due to some COVID-related travel restrictions he was forced to cancel a previous photoshoot and he needed a quick turnaround on them. I pulled together a quick makeshift studio setup in the garage, and once Rich arrived and we started talking I discovered that he won the LLS Man of the Year and the photo was to be used in their feature in Forbes magazine! What an achievement for Rich and his team, and it was great getting to know him and his personal connection to LLS as we made these images.
