While I love working unobstructed in a studio, there's a broader story to tell when a subject can interact with their surroundings. These photographs allow me to highlight where someone is from, what they do for a living, or what they're into (or aren't into). It could be a candid moment or a forced-interaction, but the intent the same: to draw out just a little more of someone's truth.
